The Aguglia di Goloritzè is one of the most famous and sought-after towers in Sardinia. The climb is thrilling, with an incredible view over Cala Goloritzè and the entire Gulf of Orosei. The Easy Gymnopedie route is the most accessible way to reach the summit.
A must-do experience for every climber! The classic summit photo on top of the Aguglia, just over 1 meter wide, is a memory that will last forever.
After the multipitch climb, a swim in the crystal-clear waters of Cala Goloritzè—admired the entire way up—is the perfect reward.
MEETING POINT & APPROACH
We meet at the parking area near Su Porteddu campsite, in the Golgo plateau. From there, after paying the entrance fee, we follow the trail leading down to Cala Goloritzè.
ROUTE DETAILS
The route consists of 5 pitches: 6a, 6b, 6b, 6a+, 5c
The first pitch starts with a short, intense move, then becomes easier. The second pitch is the crux of the route, featuring an overhanging section. The third pitch begins with a crack and includes a small overhang before the exit. The fourth pitch is more technical, with balance moves, and the final pitch is a beautiful slab leading to the summit.
At the end of the Easy Gymnopedie route, you’re rewarded with a stunning view from the top of the Aguglia di Goloritzè.
