The Spigolo Nord-Ovest long climbing route on Punta Cusidore is one of the most classic and significant alpine routes in Sardinia. The line follows the elegant arête for over 600 meters, offering varied, logical, and continuous climbing.
The rock, a solid and grippy limestone, features a very interesting sequence of cracks, slabs, and dihedrals, providing a highly rewarding climbing experience. The environment is wild and remote, nestled in the heart of the Supramonte, with wide-ranging views that, on clear days, extend all the way to the sea.
The ascent is long and requires full traditional protection, making it suitable for climbers with experience on adventure terrain. It is a complete and well-rounded route, considered an essential climb for anyone wishing to experience Sardinian alpinism in its most authentic form.
