The multi-pitch climbing route Radio Galena is the easiest way to reach the summit of Pan di Zucchero. The itinerary develops vertically above the sea with three beautiful pitches on perfect limestone, featuring water-drop pockets and sharp edges. The approach is made by dinghy, and the route starts directly from the boat.
MEETING POINT & APPROACH
We meet at the parking lot by Masua beach, from where we reach the beach and board the dinghy.
ROUTE DETAILS
The route consists of 3 pitches: 5b, 5c, 5b.
The first pitch climbs on compact rock, with generous holds and flakes. The second pitch is a dihedral with a final chimney. The third pitch is a vertical wall with excellent holds and stances.
At the end of the route, you can continue up to the summit of Pan di Zucchero, then for the descent, you can either use the via ferrata or rappel down to the boat.
